Start a soonami, find an ideal team through our hackathons, and manage your venture captable.

You've got an incredible startup idea that has the potential to make a significant impact on the world, but you find yourself lacking the time, mental bandwidth, and a dedicated team to bring it to fruition. Your idea deserves to be brought to life, and we're here to help you make it a reality with just two hours of your commitment. How do we do this?

Our initiative, ‘Start a soonami,’ is for all experienced entrepreneurs, creative VCs, and angels, or senior managers looking to embark on a new remote venture with a great team. soonami is a venture accelerator dedicated to helping entrepreneurs find co-founders and develop innovative ideas in the Web3 and AI space. We guide projects from their inception all the way to securing funding. If you're interested in becoming a part of this exciting journey, here's what you need to do to start your own soonami:

Invest at least two hours of your time to find a suitable team and idea

The early stages of any project are crucial, and two key moments demand your attention: team selection and idea definition. While assembling a capable team is paramount, having a solid idea is equally important. Even the most skilled team can't make a bad idea successful. Thus, we are committed to helping you form a strong team and refine your project idea.

How do we handle this? We select the best entrepreneurs, investors, and top managers to handpick the team and then help the team find the right idea.

As a Soonami starter, you will invest minimum two hours at one of our hackathons. Here's what to expect:

Pre-Hackathon Interviews with candidates: About a week before the hackathon, we will organize twelve 5-minute interviews with pre-selected candidates. These interviews will help you identify potential team members. If you need more time with any candidate, feel free to schedule more extended interviews.

The second hour is on the first day of the hackathon on 22nd September. There you will:

  •  Present Your Predefined Idea: If you already have an idea, you can explain it to the team and provide guidance on execution.
  • Brainstorm with Your Team: Alternatively, you can work with your team to develop a new project idea during the hackathon.

How will soonami support you?

We provide you with our software to jumpstart projects. Please sign up here to register you as a founder/advisor and to also register your project. Once the project is registered, we will help you with

- Name and logo suggestions

- a pre-written business plan

- a free tokenized captable giving you the ability to pay with your token for freelancers

- and soon a lot more

We'll support you until you find an investor for your project.

What is in it for you?

As a soonami starter, you'll receive recognition on the captable. Typically, we recommend a 2% equity share if you contribute by defining the idea and investing two hours of your time. However, you can negotiate different terms with your team, such as a 5% equity share, which might come with a bi-weekly check-in arrangement.

Ready to get started? Apply on our platform to become a soonami starter. If you're selected, we'll send out an email introducing you to all co-founders on the platform, allowing you to share your journey on social media.
